Before day 1: pick a lane
TikTok's algorithm pushes your videos to people who watched similar content. If you post cooking today, gaming tomorrow, and vlogs on Friday, the algorithm can't find your audience. Pick one niche you can talk about daily — singing, budget food, gaming, pag-uusap/advice, product finds — and stay in it for 30 days.
The 30-day plan
Days 1–7: volume and calibration
- Post 1–3 videos daily. Yes, daily — new accounts need data to be categorized.
- Keep videos 7–15 seconds — completion rate is the strongest early signal.
- Use trending sounds within your niche (check what's trending in PH via the Creative Center or your For You page).
- Delete nothing. Low views on early videos don't hurt you; they teach you.
Days 8–14: double down on what worked
- Check your analytics: your top 2 videos by watch time are your formula. Make 5 variations of each.
- Start replying to every comment — comments per view is a ranking signal, and repliers become followers.
Days 15–30: hooks and series
- First 1.5 seconds decide everything. Proven hook formats: a question ("Alam mo ba…?"), a bold claim ("Walang magsasabi sa'yo nito…"), mid-action starts, and on-screen text that creates a loop ("wait for it").
- Start a numbered series ("Day 3 of testing ukay finds"). Series turn viewers into followers because they want the next episode.
- Post at PH peak hours: 6–9 AM, 12–1 PM, and 8–11 PM.
What to skip (it doesn't work in 2026)
- Follow-for-follow — inflates numbers, destroys your engagement rate, and the algorithm buries you.
- Buying followers — same result, plus it risks the account entirely.
- Hashtag spam — 3–5 relevant hashtags beat 30 generic ones.
- Reposting watermarked videos — TikTok demotes recycled content.
After 1,000: go LIVE within the first week
Momentum matters. As soon as LIVE unlocks, start streaming — even short sessions. LIVE viewers convert to followers faster than video viewers, and gifting income starts immediately.
